CAMPS
Arena
Adventures
facilitates three types of camps to suit all ages, a
variety of fitness levels, and different goals. For our next
camp, please check out the events
page.
Or we can organize a
camp
just for your group.
1.Bootcamp
Everybody is going crazy for bootcamp at the moment. Arena
Adventures Bootcamp is unlike all the other bootcamps run by gyms and
training facilities because our instructors are genuine Special Forces
Instructors. They have been through the toughest training
there
is, and now they are going to show you how it’s done!
Experience
3
days/2 nights of tough, challenging and rewarding training.
You
will run the obstacle course, climb nets, crawl through mud, carry
logs, jump over walls, and more. You will get muddy and you
will
get tired. However, you will also get fitter, stronger, and
tougher. You will meet new people who will become your
teammates
and encourage you through the hard times. You will eat great
food, have some great chats around the fire, and sleep comfortably in
your bunk bed at night.
Participants
in
bootcamp must have at least a basic level of fitness. The
camp is
at Coalville (2 hours from Melbourne). Included is all meals,
accommodation, transport (if required), bootcamp t-shirt, and genuine
bootcamp instruction.
2.Booty
Camp
Booty Camp is a fitness based and well being camp for women, run by
women. That doesn’t mean it is a soft, touchy feely
camp.
You will train hard, but you will also have fun and time to relax and
socialise. What is unique about booty camp is that we focus
on
what women want. The fitness sessions maximise fat
burning.
The strength sessions target all those wobbly bits us girls hate
– butt, thighs, and tummy. We also talk about
women’s
health issues.
Every
camp is
different and will include a variety of activities such as:
- A
cardiovascular session at the beach
- A hike
through the forest
- A stretch
session indoors
- Canoeing
in the river
- Massage
- Meditation
- Fitball
session
- Team
building games
- Orienteering
We
will also
include talks and discussions on women’s health issues such
as:
- Relaxation
(indent)
- Time
Management
- Dieting
– what works and what doesn’t
- Training
at home
- How to
stretch properly
You
will leave
feeling fitter, inspired, motivated, refreshed, relaxed, and with a new
positive attitude. Bring a friend and enjoy the experience
together.
We
include your
meals, accommodation, transport (if required), activities and
instructors.
3.Survival of
the Fittest
Ever
wanted to rough it a little but didn’t have the
know-how?
This camp will show you how to look after yourself in any situation
that Mother Nature can throw at you. You will compete in
teams
throughout the weekend to find water, build fire, build rafts, build
shelter, and more. You will learn vital map reading skills,
map
to ground skills, how to use a compass, and more.
Survival
of the
fittest can be run from many different locations. We will
organise accommodation, meals, transport (if required), and your
instructors.
